About Lisa

Adelisa Anderson-Concepcion more popularly known as “Lisa” is first and foremost a lover of Life Himself. She has lived her life according to what gives glory to the Lover of her soul.

Lisa is a musician, her life has always been accompanied by music from her first few steps until present. Her first performance was at the age of 4, in her old nursery school–Hope Christian School in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, Philippines. With both parents who also love music, how can one not sing along? Her first musical instrument was the piano but since 13 years old, she has never let the guitar go. With old “Fraggio”–the Yamaha classic guitar, going with her wherever she goes, her journey thru this life is simply musical.

She writes songs when she can, mostly about her adventures, longings, fears, revelations. She dreams to bring kingdom music to the nations and that is why she is currently based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

She arrived in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on a day in June 2011 when the sun is high up the sky, after cruising through the traffic in a tuktuk. She spent the first two years of her time in Cambodia, in a town called Prek Leap, where she taught English and shared her music.

She then finished her two-year commitment of volunteering to see what else is there in Phnom Penh. She worked for a magazine company for one and a half months.

She entered the local music scene in Phnom Penh in August 2013 after getting laid off from her job at the magazine company. She is now working in the marketing and communications field a new company and is still keeping up with her music.

“It’s a rare privilege to be doing what one loves in this lifetime.
I am blessed to be given such opportunity.
Music is my passion which fuels me to move forward with life.”
